What SignCloudNine processes

SignCloudNine processes the information needed to operate a managed screen workspace. This can include site and screen names, device identifiers, app version, assignments, schedules, content files and metadata, connection and check-in times, and operational events or diagnostics.

If Apple Push Notification registration is enabled, the app can also send its Apple device token and configured board URL to the notification service.

When someone creates an account, SignCloudNine also processes the supplied workspace name, owner name, email address, a one-way password hash, secure session records, and acceptance of the Terms and Privacy Policy. When someone submits the public contact form, SignCloudNine processes the supplied name, email address, organization, screen-range estimate, request type, and message.

How the information is used

The information is used to enroll screens, deliver assigned content, apply schedules, show screen health, diagnose failures, recover service, and protect the workspace. SignCloudNine does not use this information for advertising and does not sell it.

Access and storage

Self-service workspace management uses an owner email and password. Passwords are transformed with a salted, computationally expensive one-way hash before storage. The browser receives a secure, HTTP-only session cookie. Directly managed pilot workspaces can continue using a legacy administrator key that remains in the open browser tab and is not saved to persistent browser storage by SignCloudNine. Managed media is stored privately and is delivered through authorized service paths.

Workspace records are retained as needed by the organization operating the screens. Contact your workspace administrator to request access, correction, or deletion of workspace-managed information.

Contact requests are retained only as needed to respond and manage the pilot relationship. The inquiry record does not store the requester’s IP address. Cloudflare edge rate limiting can use a transient connection signal to reduce automated abuse.

Service operator and privacy requests

SignCloudNine is operated by CMIT.EMB. Submit a privacy question or request through the SignCloudNine contact form and select Privacy request. Workspace-specific requests may also require confirmation from the organization that controls that workspace.

Service providers

SignCloudNine relies on infrastructure providers, including Cloudflare for service delivery and Apple for the tvOS platform and optional push notification services. Their systems may process technical information needed to provide those services.
