From empty workspace to a playing screen.

This is the direct setup path for one Apple TV. Keep the manager open on a phone or computer and the SignCloudNine app open on the display.

Before you start

Have the handoff ready.

01 · Workspace

Create the operating home.

Use names that the person standing in front of the display will recognize later.

    Create the owner account.

    Open signcloudnine.com/signup. Enter the workspace name, owner name, and email, then create a password and accept the published terms.

    No card is required. The complimentary screen's 30 days do not begin yet.

    Sign in and create the first site.

    Use a stable location name such as Downtown or Airport Lobby. A site holds its protected board configuration and associated screens.

02 · Site & content

Publish something the Apple TV can play.

    Open Boards & Content.

    Create or import the site configuration, choose its board state, and add the approved images or videos. Use the final screen geometry; routine content changes keep that geometry protected.

    Publish the site.

    Review the pending content, publish it, and wait for the manager to accept the revision. A screen cannot enroll into a useful assignment until its site has published content.

    A publish confirmation proves the service accepted the revision. The Apple TV confirmation comes later.

03 · Pair the screen

Use one code, once.

  1. 5

    Create the setup code.

    In the manager, open Screens and select Add screen. Enter the screen name, choose its site and starting board state, then select Create pairing code.

    The code is valid for 24 hours and can enroll only one Apple TV.
  2. 6

    Enter the code on the Apple TV.

    Install and open SignCloudNine. On Connect this Apple TV, enter the numeric setup code and select Connect screen. Leave the app open while it retrieves and verifies the assigned content.

    The complimentary screen's 30 days begin only after this connection succeeds.

04 · Verification

Finish on the real screen.

Look at the display.

Confirm the intended board is visible, legible, and playing without a setup or error message.

Check Screens.

Return to the manager. The new Apple TV should use its expected name and assignment.

Wait for Playing.

Do not call setup complete while the screen is only connected or preparing. Wait for playable content confirmation.

05 · Routine work

The next update is simpler.

Replace content

Change the file, not the frame.

  1. Open Boards & Content.
  2. Replace the approved image or video.
  3. Publish now or choose an activation time.
  4. Confirm the screen returns to Playing.

Schedule a state

Keep a default outside the rule.

  1. Open Schedule and choose the screen.
  2. Select a published site and board state.
  3. Set days, times, and time zone.
  4. Save and verify the assignment when the window begins.
